Haukijärvisuolampi

Haukijärvinsuo (not an official name) is located NE of Haukijarvi.

There are two small ponds of about 144 m2 in a beautiful peat bog of 0.8 ha.

Some of the open water starts to be covered with peat mosses and e.g. D. anglica.

The area is difficult to access. I only found excuviae of Zygoptera.

Several species of butterflies were present, such as B. aquilonaris.

I observed imago’s of A. juncea, L. dubia, and C. hastulatum.
