Keppilampi is slightly larger (0.9 ha) than Päälampi. It is surrounded by forest and the shores comprise about 1-2 m wide peat bog vegetation. There seemed to be quite some trampling (fishermen?). Only three species of dragonfly where observed. Despite the peat moss vegetation I did not find excuviae of A. subarctica.
