Maununlampitie

At the start of the path to Maununlampi are two very small rainwater-fed pools. The largest of the two has almost allways water, and here I found some exuvia.

The other depression dries-up easily. I did not find any exuvia here, yet.

One of the interesting species near these ponds is Elokorento (S. flaveolum). This species seems to be typical for shallow ponds that warm-up quickly, and in summer even might dry-up.
